Hey Folks,

Just wanted to show you all what I occupied my time with last night. The TNC AA light was a special request by someone, and the Aleph was a bare Al kit I picked up and built up.

The Aleph is currently built up with a 15 ohm 2-stage switch, A1 head, NG1000 convertor and 1x123 pack. Works pretty nice - I'm going to have to build up a new LE for it so I can reclaim the one in there borrowed from a different light. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Please let me know what you all think.

Enrique,

Very nice work /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif I like this finish so much /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Good pictures too............ Is it bead blasted or what ?

D'oh! Yes, I forgot to mention, the lights are bead blasted. Glad you like them Frenchy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

WOW - very very nice /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I bet that finish will be more resistant to light
scratches than mirror polished AL.

bravo!

did you do any "upgrades" to the TnC other than beadblasting it. It does have a nice look to it.

doug

Diggdug, nope. The parts were sent to me in bare aluminum and gutted. I just masked off the reflector and blasted the whole light to that finish.

that's soo cool Enrique, I really like the look of that on the TnC AA.

Hey Enrique, they both look very nice! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/clap.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif
