Hi All,

Does anyone have a suggestion for somewhere to get a handful of aluminium parts anodized, preferably with a selection of colours, etc? Somewhere in the SF/Bay Area would be ideal, but otherwise somewhere that I could ship parts to and they'ed ship them back would be fine.

I'm currenly making some small items on the lathe to give as gifts for friends/family. I'd like to get them anodized but I don't want to start with sulphuric acid and resparators at home.

Thanks,

-Anthony

Thanks. Cerakote might be an option, though I prefer the look of anodizing.

From searching online, it wasn't clear if any of the places listed would be willing to do such small jobs, or were only interested in bigger jobs/larger quantities. I'll try phoning a few to ask.

If you're absolutely bent on getting the parts anodized, you can do it yourself in your shop. It's not particularly easy, but also not horribly difficult either. It really only gets hard if you're trying to match a specific color. I've done it myself.
