For the last year or 2 ive been sneezing like crazy my allergies was like scarey bad even mentioned it here a time or two I assumed it was pollen but didn't understand why it last most the year . Well today my air conditioner company contacted me to cut cord off my ac because of a recal due to mold build up. Should I be scared I heard mold can be bad

You might want to get checked out by a pulmonologist, just to be on the safe side. Tell them about your AC recall, and the reason for it, and your sneezing. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get a room air purifier, too.

Dang I loved the ac till I read the recall today . It's a inverter type U window ac. But was wondering why I always had runny nose and was sneezing. I kept asking people who grew up if they just plant pollen trees lol

Unfortunately, many modern A/Cs with closely spaced fins are more prone to mold and mildew. I regularly spray the fins with alcohol whenever I clean the filters. It sounds like your A/C had a particularly bad issue with it.

Mold is a killer. Be very careful.

PSA, something about the majority of planted trees being male because female trees left too much menstrual stuff (rotting fruits) around and it was "unsightly" and "expensive" to clean up. So yes, all the male trees are violating every soft mucusy membrane that we have against our wills.

Black mold is the dangerous one. Unlikely in a normal A/C They have to issue recalls to protect themselves legally.

Most allergy testing is fraught with inaccuracies, and is part of a scheme to suck patients into getting regular allergy desensitization series of shots.

It's also a good idea to avoid "eco" settings which turn the fan off when the compressor shuts off. The smarter units keep the fan going 10 or 15 minutes to dry off the evaporator. If your A/C does that then "eco" mode is OK.

I did on 3 of them lol my luck i bought many of them they was rated so high. It's hot as hect today so I waiting to cut last cord till I can get a new one

I'm glad my two A/C units are older.
I just remove and clean off the filters every now and then.
