Does anyone have experience with or some specs for the 123A batteries sold on eBay under the "Angelfire" brand?

I bought 20 of them to try out due to the low price, and the first set I put in my Inova X5 seems to be dying out WAY faster than the Battery Station 123s I usually use.

You will find several posts around CPF about no-name brands of CR123A batteries.

Basically they can be dangerous to use as:

- They may not have all of the proper safety measures built in
- The QC may be little to non existent
- The construction of the entire cell may be poor
- The chemical mixture may not be consistent between batches
- The remaining capacity in different cells it a batch can vary wildly

You best bet is to buy quality cells from a reputable supplier, from brands such as:

- Surefire
- Energiser
- Panasonic
- Duracell
- Battery station (new USA version)

If you are talking about Angelfire C123A primaries (Non-rechargeable) I have had the same experience. The higher drain the application, the worse they perform. Yet another example of "You get what you pay for". Oh well.

I briefly put some in my SF M111C, and they barely ran it at 10% power (or less). Took them right out.
