What can I say ? I'm a knifeAholic .. Ebay dangled a D2 Flissa 9 under my nose for $23.80 Dollaroo's to my door ( $15.50 USD ) ....... What could I do ?
I paid almost double that for my first one , so I already knew to a point what I was buying . Yeah , took me all about 10 seconds to hit the BUY button !
It's Morakniv money .. Butt , it's better .

UPDATE

Just editing video :
Oh dear ! The blade got a little micro chip on the apex ! As I was slicing rope . Looks like , where the chip occurred there was a deep grove which may have weakened the apex causing it to chip . Butt & it's a huge butt ! I stopped slicing rope at 650 slices . That was / is a full scandi edge . The knife was slicing paper Extremely well , except where the chip was . The knife did not fail at 650 - I stopped at 650 ! @ $23.80 dollaroo's to my door = This is a hell of a knife !

Bushcrafty : I love the way it cuts wood . Very controlled and confidence building . The spine is Ferro Crisp , throws very nice ferro , it just needs to land in the right place . ( That's on the user ) It drops the ferro in the same place , so the user has to adjust what they are doing ! Some knifes throw ferro forward . some knives drop it straight down and some knives drop it slightly behind . This knife dropped the ferro slightly behind . ( And then there are knives that throw ferro like a crazed fire hose ) . The spine is not nearly crisp enough to scrape Gum Tree , so I might have to do something about that ! If I had to give this knife a score , it would be 8 out of 10 . ( Not considering the price at all )

Part 2 - Bushcrafty Flissa
I was very impressed with the performance of the Flissa on the rope ! But where it did not impress was scraping wood . To correct this I honed the spine on diamond plate till it felt crisp . The other things was to 3D print a ferro rod mount and attach it to the sheath . I gorilla glued the mount and then drilled a hole and screwed it . The screw protruded just a little from the other end so it was diamond honed to nothing ( Protrusion ) . The sheath was a little generous with it's internal capacity , so I made a depron spacer and glued it to the inside . ( Knife fits real nice now ) ..

Video : Spine scrapes Gumtree real nice now .
Ferro : First attempt was a little soft , but almost got the job done . 2nd attempt was with more gusto and the gum scrapings almost exploded into flames . Yeah ...... that spine is sweet N bushcrafty now .
