Any AAA throwers

Fenix LD01 (27/3/72lm, twisty) throws pretty good for an AAA light,
when walking outside the 3lm mode is as usable as the 20lm mode on my Olight i3s, saving a lot of battery. Obviously the LD01 out-throws the i3s on the medium and high modes.

Another good point - AAA single cell? Double cell? 3*AAA?

In the keychain category, I like the ThruNite TiS model.

They are not regulated but the old Coast P7 or T7's can throw pretty well. Caution they are the lights that got me addicted.

Do you have a price range or size requirement?

You might want to check out the MBI HF-R with a Turbohead. That would have good throw.
Other AAA lights with a reflector and using a XP-E2 led would probably have some decent throw.
I don't have a lot of experience with the full line of current AAA lights but the LF2XT is my favorite AAA light and with a XP-E or XP-E2 led and a 10440 battery I would say that the throw is quite impressive for it's size. You'd be looking at ~$200-225 and have a bit of a hunt in front of you but I've seen a few recently over on the Marketplace.

Hopefully your expectations of an AAA thrower are in realistic line with the fact that throw can only be so much with a light that small. Also, running on a very high settings will have short time limitations because there isn't a lot of mass to dissipate the heat.

Hi Shine thanks for your post and reply, the other thing I need to be careful off is advertisers especially on EBay and other sites posting their AAA lights with false Lumens readings, eg some claim to have 500, 1200 etc

I know these are not favoured on this forum but Led Lenser P3AFS P , is a keychain single AAA , Throws as manufacture says to around 120 metres , About as far as my Thrunite TN12 but with no spill.

Single brightness ,75lm, I use L92 Energizer lithium in mine ,with no issues, maybe runs a little brighter than on alkaline or NIMH and extends the runtime a bit.

If you're talking about the tank007 series of lights, they are good to go as long as you can find one that specs out to your expectations.

Thats the one, Tank007. I have been thinking of buying two off their website, a Tank007 E09 and a Tank007 E19, mind you the E19 is a AA cell and not AAA but the E09 is AAA.
