Has anyone used any of these? Any feedback brightness color etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Bill

Re: Any feedback on the Q4H\'s?

I have one of thse on my Arc grey. Very bright, but distinctly blue. Id say fork out the few dollars extra and get one of the R binned stars.

Yea, what kakster said... on the other hand, you could just get a Q3J from kong. They're nice and white, pretty bright too. Not quite as bright as my R2K, but I can only tell when comparing side by side.

I have two. They have very low Vf, 3.15-3.20 at 400 mA.
They are both a bit greenish. I don't have any other LD's so it's difficult to say anything about the brightness.

AilSnail,
That's kingkong. He's running a thread in B/S/T on Q3J's.

I have 2 which pull .20 and .23A on a fresh 123. They are "bluish." (Seem to me to be accurately binned.)

Larry, did you see them as bluish or more toward purplish?

shiftd,

All of the 3-bins I have encountered since I started playing with LSs have had a bluish center surrounded by white-to-greenish. Back when I bought some 2-bins, which have (to me) ranged from the "soft white" which I prefer to shightly greenish. I haven't encountered one of Craig's "dog urine..." yet, but I am a newbie. For the 5Ws, the 3-bin seems to be dead on! (Again experience limited!) What are you doin' this weekend? Afternoon snack somewhere- I'll buy.

Larry
