Alrighty,
I'm still kind of new to good lights and the forums here in general but here goes...
I'd like to mount a light to my AR. I currently own a G2, L2, C3, and Pentagon L2 mil grade. What really interests me are the cree and the Seoul LED's as I've heard they're pretty darn amazing.

First, which of the two upgrades is generally considered to be better (brighter), the Cree or the Seoul?

Secondly, would a Cree or Seoul fit on any of the lights I currently have along with a shockproof bezel?

Thirdly, if a Cree or Seoul WON'T fit into what I already have, are there any other makers out there that make a product rugged enough for wepons mounting (Fenix, Wolf Eyes, Dereelight www.dereelight.com/dr-c1h.htm, LED Logic Striker www.batteryjunction.com/ledlostvgtaf2.html)

Any ideas?

Thanks for helping a light noob!

I recently installed a Wolf Eyes 6HX on a Mossberg 500. I am very impressed with the overall quality of the Wolf Eyes lights. Very well made and my 6HX is the first light I have bought lately that arrived with both the threads and o-rings properly lubricated.

As for ruggedness, I have put 30 rounds of 12GA through with the light both on and off. No issues. Wolf Eyes has just come out with a HO Cree drop-in for their 6V and 9V lights. It should satisfy those who want an LED weapon light. For me. for now, I still prefer incan for this use.

Wolf Eyes highly recommended for weapon mounting or general use.

Mike at PTS is great to deal with, and also gives a CPF discount.

If I were to have one of the lights I already have converted to a Seoul LED for weapons mounting, which one would be the best choice, and who would do it?

Thanks
