Hi /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink2.gif
I thought I would check in and see what may be the latest and greatest in the way of 15 degree line generators ranging in the IIIA class. It's been a while since I have played with these little wonders and thought I should ask the people who know as to what may have happened in the last five years.
I could research this for a while but you guys are playing with these things all the time so I thought I would ask.
Are we still doing a nice tight 12 mm module that can handle anything from two or three AAAs to two or three C cell power packages?
I know you guys like the paper punches but I'm looking for the slicers. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evilgrin07.gif

Anyway I hope I'm not old school at this pointer. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hahaha.gif pun /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif

Keep it real, bright,

Actually, it was my dream to see a line generator attachment made for the PGL-III. The problem is, if you spread the light out in a 15 degree divergence, your output quickly drops into the dazzling-only power range.

No burning stuffs.

Or are you talking about a motor generated scan line?

No not that kind (line scan) of a line generator. The motors and all would be a bit tough in a 12 mm package running on even 3 C cells for the manufactures end.
Just a simple reflection type line generator is what the post was refering to. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif
Sorry I don't really plan on burning stuff but with you guys around here anything that would burn it would be what I would be looking for. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif
