8xAA?? Why not 3x18650 or 4xCR123?
Probably because outside CPF, people want regular batteries, and Fenix's sales figures probably show that trend.

Many are hoping for a 3x18650 option as well, or a slightly different model for this configuration. I think the TK11 has been popular enough that Fenix has not given up on 18650. We'll have to get 4Sevens to spill the beans.8xAA?? Why not 3x18650 or 4xCR123?

I would be pretty excited about that UI, but on this light I think I would prefer Loosen head: 10-60-140 / Tightened Head: MAX
By keeping the tightened position 1 level it fits Tactical applications better and is similar to existing T series.

True that. But most people outside CPF won't pay 150 bucks for a flashlight either...Probably because outside CPF, people want regular batteries, and Fenix's sales figures probably show that trend.

Whoa TK40! 😱oo: I like the form factor on that.
What I like best is they are REALLY going to drive the light to its potential. What I mean is even with that new JetBeam M1X, it's not 700 lumen as they are trying to deceive you to believe, it's a max of 450 lumen. I haven't (as a noob that is) seen many lights out there that actually get near the capable output of today's top LEDs.
