Any Swiss Army knife fans here?

I am a Swiss Army fan too, it cannot be beaten for a pocket-sized lightweight tool - for the time being. The regular multi-tools are too big for pocket carry right now, but a real pliers and a blade should be the starting point for any good multi-tool. Until now though the choice for carry in the pocket was the SAK without a real pliers or a Leatherman-type multi-tool that basically was too big to be carried in the pocket.

Hopefuly that will change soon though. When the Leatherman Juice line comes out in Fall 2001, I think the perfect pocket multi-tool will have been made - except for the oddly bright colors. The Juice line looks to be a smaller sized Leatherman intended for carry in the pocket; I personally cannot wait.

Anyway, for more on these and other new tools check out http://www.equipped.org/shot_show_2001.htm (Leatherman Juice about 1/4 of the way down)

Oh, I almost forgot, I like the Tinker and Super Tinker. I love the phillips screwdriver on the Tinker and the addition of the scissors on the Super Tinker.

With the SAKs that I carry, I want tools that I use everyday that my folder will not help me with - nothing more, nothing less.

Which models do you like/carry Craig?

Man, these threades really dry up quick, don't they? I travelled to Switzerland when I was 9, and while there bought a beautiful SAK that has no US "name." It had everything I wanted at the time though: Magnifying glass, scissors, saw, etc. I still have that knife and use it often.

Bought my first SAK (a Victorinox Fisherman) in Hong Kong in 1968 and haven't been without one since. I stop with the scissors and the wood saw and I like the corkscrew with the glasses screwdriver in it. I haven't seen a Juice yet, but the blue one looks to have just what I like.
