I got a chance to check them out recently and like them a lot - twenty bucks and some change to get a decent 6V light isn't bad in my book, and the quality was a lot better than I thought it'd be..

Wondering if they'd take a P60 Dropin...

I've had mine (Stryker-6)for a year now, picked it up at Fry's for as a B-Day gift from me to me! I've been able to run it with Surefire hardware with out a hitch. In fact, I've just gotten a Surefire 80/Lumen drop-in that fits as well. All this is great since the manufactorure shows no spare parts on their website.

I wish someone would make a P60 style drop-in for the T.O.P. 1 cell light. I think a upgradeable 1 CR123 light would great.

I have two of these, one has the Boker brand but they are the same light. I was looking for a LED drop in for it. You are saying Surefire drop-ins work? Which ones? I have several generic brand drop ins but none of them fit. The base does not fit into the upper part of the light (battery tube).

The one I'd gotten is from Surefire.com, not a 3rd party brand name.

Thanks chiphead. So basically it's a light that takes P-60 dropins, styled similar to a 6P or G2.

I emailed Lighthound a couple months ago about these, and he said the P60 sized bulbs would not fit. I would assume the many drop-ins would be a no go as well.

I also heard from lighthound that they would not fit........
Have no reason to disbelieve him either. wonder why your light can take the dropins.....?
Anyone else have a T.O.P light and some different dropins they can try?
Would love to know as the TOP seems like a really well built BARGAIN.

Thank you all for the info, however, the Surefire dropin that would fit this light is a bit too much $$. At $40.00 it is more than the T.O.P light costs, and if I was going to put that much into it, I would just get a Surefire 6P led and get a better quality light. I was hoping to find a generic $10.00 to $20.00 module that I got for a few of my other lights. I do not want to buy from DealExtreme or any vendor out of the US. They sell a version of this light with a 3W Luxeon so it is possible an email to the company itself may be the way to go on this light!

The reason I'd spent the money on the Surefire unit is that I've got 2 drop drop-in that were to fit my 6P but don't. MUch to my surprise! On the other hand these drop-ins will fit my MaxFire which is a lot like a Surefire G2. I knew I couldn't go wrong sticking with a name brand and this little jewel rocks with output! I've taken Surefire P60 bulbs and placed them in a Stryker(Model#LX6AK2) and run without a hitch.

p.s
I can understand you caution.
