Anybody receive a KL1 today?

If so please post. Yesterday, PK announced several hundred have shipped. I figured that hopefully a few people would want one so bad as to pay overnight shipping. I ordered with two day shipping direct from Surefire (very reasonable shipping charges) so I'm really hoping to have a present waiting for me tomorrow after work. I'm holding on to my Arc LS before sending in for repair (still flex problem) to do a comparison.
EDIT: Just called Surefire. The good news is that they did ship my light which was ordered last week so hopefully they shipped other backorders as well. Current orders however are being put on back order. The bad news is that I did specifiy UPS blue two day shipping and they shipped it ground instead so I have Oct. 9 as a schedule delivery date. Oh well sigh, I should read plenty of feedback from other users at that point.

I got mine today, I'm still playing with it.

What is funny is that when I ordered, the customer service guy trounced the CPF when I mentioned it. He said there are alot of misinformation put out here. After that he said he had a meeting that morning (Monday) and told me that the KL1,KL2 was shipped on Friday. According to pk, that is wrong. So HE was spreading misinformation....LOL. Sheesh.

As soon as I said "on the discussion board" he made a noise like he rolled his eyes. Then said, "There is so much misinformation on the discussion boards". I asked if the KL series were going to be shipped Tuesday (I ordered Monday thinking I'll catch the Tue shipping). He said "The KL series shipped out last Friday".

SF could also use a computer database so I don't have to keep giving my darn address every single time I order. I get the feeling that they are bitter because we get more information than they do

As for the brightness...I don't have an LS but I'll gladly take one if anyone wants to send me one

. This thing is ULTRA bright for a single LED. It easily out blasts my Inova X5T....I mean EASILY! It's much whiter than any LED I have (ARC, Inova, keychain LEDs etc.)

It fits nicely in the V82 hollster, which is how I will carry it now. I used to carry the E2e in my front pocket but man, I don't want to scratch this thing.....

I'll spare everyone my eyeball review since there has been many professional reviews done of this light already. Thanks to those who have taken their time in reviewing and posting pics of the KL series.

The Inova X5 (perhaps the 5T is better) is blasted by the Lambda Illuminator and Ill Pill as well as the Arc sLS I have...In fact, I think it's bettered (if not blasted) by the 4AA Streamlight and definitely by the 3C Streamlight <smile> That's why I sold my X5 (non T).

Brightguy doesn't have his in yet and I'm waiting patiently for it...

I couldn't wait so I paid the $50 (SF Direct) to get it a week earlier than through a dealer

. I ordered a Pyrex 6P bezel $28.11 so it was free shipping, I'd have to pay $6-10 shipping anyway through a dealer.

Allright, I'm frothing at the mouth. I want to know specifically how does it compare to a recent Arc LS (a regular one, not a 500 ma one) and a badboy yellow. Those are my two benchmark led lights for the moment. I still can't wait. I'll have to cannibilize my gunmetal colored E2 with the HA KL1 but such is life. Would really like to buy a HA E2E without the head if that becomes possible.

M6, the color of the LS isnt pea green and are consistant with the results of the ones we have seen so far?
