anybody who knows about this light?

Other than the fact that it looks a bit like a vibrator, I don't know anything about it.

I recognise that one- it also goes by the name "Gelert" I believe- and our very own Jahn "Something Ridiculous" Light-lover knows all about it- cos he`s got one. Offered to loan it to me for a review- and when everything`s ready here, I hope that offer is still on.

Other than that, nothing is known about it here at the "bulb museum".

These things have been popping up all over the place over the last year - it is Chinese made and is being sold by a number of different companys - they also make a 3 LED/Incan combo light (handheld and also a headlamp). Not very good quality.

Who is Ring and what other products do they manufacture?

A prolific distributor of lighting products mainly here in the UK. They sell flashlights, light bulbs and automotive stuff (bulbs, fog lamps, etc). Maybe some other things too like electrical accessories. I don`t think they actually make anything, they`re just an importer/ distributor.

Telephony, I've seen it in a catalog from Conrad electronics, a German mailorder company.
