Over the weekend I got to play with my two new lights. The Maelstrom G5... AWESOME. I absolutely love it. Are their a couple things I don't like? Sure. However, the pros FAR outweigh the cons so...
Now, I also got a Quark AA2 Tactical in warm. While I knew the warm would be dimmer than a standard Quark (have no experience with them anyway though) I didn't realize it would be this dim.
Having a Zebralight warm, that was the color temp I was expecting. This thing is every bit the color of an incantation (not necessarily a bad thing) and far dimmer than I expected.
It's replaced my Lumapower VX Tactical as my EDC. I'd rather go back to it but gave it to the wife as her Maxpedition/purse light.
I love it indoors but in my rural setting with no real outdoor lighting, its just not up to par for use outside the home.
Perhaps I'm just jaded by all the other really bright lights I've got.
Am I the only one that isn't happy with their warm? I was considering the minix 123 but now worried I'll be disappointed in it as well. Intended to get it to replace my gen 1 Incendio.
