It was Litho123, great selection and service. What was members name who sold all the WA bulbs here? Was it Litho123 or something like that?

It was Litho123, and few others selling WA and Carley bulbs.
I offered bulbs to work with modified or custom made flashlight.
I wasn't really looking for that lamp, if anything I'd be most likely to buy WA1185s so I can play with my M@g85s again. If there's something similar though I'll check it out.If you get a chance, could you say a few battery/light types where this CL-1499 would be worth getting? Seeing that quote above from Litho123 saying 7.2v 1.84a @ spec (370 b-lumens), it seems there are better performing 7V halogen bulbs.
CL-1499 was designed to work with 6 NiCad so keeping the current draw minimum as possible was necessary for maximum run time but 1794 was designed to work with pair of 18350 in smaller flashlight and run time were not important. If you get a chance, could you say a few battery/light types where this CL-1499 would be worth getting? BTW I am not sure why some people mixup CL-1499 with WA-1185I wasn't really looking for that lamp, if anything I'd be most likely to buy WA1185s so I can play with my M@g85s again. If there's something similar though I'll check it out.
I also want a solution with for my A2s, the MA02 is very hard to find, I have no spares.
I was just interested in incandescent lamps in general, it seems like the LED wave and possibly legislation have driven them to the brink of extinction.BTW I am not sure why some people mixup CL-1499 with WA-1185
These are two different animals and can not compaire
You missed these.

CL-1499 work well in 2D M*g with 6 NiMH and one hour run time.
CL-1499 work well in 2C M*g with pair of 18650 and two hours run time.

I'd second the 1185 more than the 1499 if I were being forced to pick between the two. I was actually most interested in seeing if Carley Lamps would do a run of copies of the 1185 with some slight tweaks to it's specs, i.e. using the Carley top-tipped T2.5 envelope since that would presumably be least costly and most straightforward or perhaps a small tweak to it's voltage requirements to circumvent the need for a soft start circuit with today's high capacity cells.I wasn't really looking for that lamp, if anything I'd be most likely to buy WA1185s so I can play with my M@g85s again. I seriously doubt they have any interest in designing & producing a bulb like the 1185. The demand for halogen bipins just isnt like it used to be.I'd second the 1185 more than the 1499 if I were being forced to pick between the two. I'm very confident that this is well within their capabilities because they've produced their own versions of multiple T2.25 and T2.5 lamps from WA, GE, and others.
That said, I personally can't get word back from them on anything. I'm either missing some important piece of email etiquette or doing something else wrong.
That's 95% my assessment but I'm gonna leave the remaining 5% uncertain until a sales rep explicitly tells me soI seriously doubt they have any interest in designing & producing a bulb like the 1185. The demand for halogen bipins just isnt like it used to be.
CL -1499 is Xenon 7.2V 1.84A and 10 hours life and thats why it shines with 7.4 volt and can not overdrive more.I know a little different than the CL 1499, but similar draw and output. It is one hell of a bulb and rated for something like 100 hours.
