Anyone have this light?

Well, it seems after doing a search i found alot of negative remarks about this light. Oh well........

I have one and I love it! Top build quality. There's a very bright white color to the beam. Between the two reflectors and seven modes, it's a very versatile light.

how does it compare to the fenix P3D as far as output, runtime, and light color? (I prefer a whiter light instead of the bluish tint). Flaslight reviews shows the Huntlight to have more output, but somewhere on this site i read the P3D was brighter. Gets confusing....:hairpull:

I have all three lights and the Huntlight is somewhat brighter than the others. Since it has the textured reflector installed (it comes with both smooth and textured) the throw is diminished but the spill beam is very bright. The runtimes at maximum brightness, according to flashlight reviews, are L2D - 2hr 21min (using Lithium cells), FT01XSE - 2hr 1min, P3D - 1hr 48min.

I agree that this light is similar to the Lumapower M1 Hunter, both are built like tanks, and have phenomenal throw with the smooth reflectors installed.

IMHO, it doesn't matter which one of these lights you buy, you'll love it.:twothumbs

Don't forget to let us know what you decide!

Got that light also! I love it. Nice build quality and will take an assortment of battery configurations!

I highly suggest getting the Huntlight, I purchased it over the comprable Lumapower M1 and do not regret doing so. Overall, a superb light.

Anyone have some beam comparison pics between the P3D and the Huntlight?

Here are a few beamshots. I replaced the textured reflector with the smooth one and compared it to a P3D. I took the shots at 1/30 sec to 1000/sec.

The FT01XSE is on the left.

You can see that the Huntlight has a tighter beam for a lot of throw but the Fenix, with a more diffuse spot, is good for closer work. The shot at 1/1000 sec shows how close the two lights are in brightness, though the P3D does seem to be a hair brighter.
