anyone know about medical stuff?

To a reasonable degree of being responsible for your healthcare, I agree.

However, reading the exquisitely detailed, long writeups of advice without knowing rag’s overall medical and psychiatric situation is ridiculous, bordering on damaging to his care when you take into account his level of cognitive sophistication demonstrated in numerous post/threads here.

And you are talking about interceding with his endocrinologist, not a primary care PA or NP.

99% of MD/DO’s will not waste their time with a non-compliant patient coming in with superfluous information which becomes a colossal waste of time.

My comment was intended to illustrate the conflicting sources of information (which is a cause for concern), I've had GPs advise that iron suppliment wasn't required for individuals with Thyroid dysfunction.

Superfluous information depends on the recipient, currently the Medical System here all too often discounts the information provided by Parents concerned with their Children and are willingly supplying all information to assist Health Professionals.

Patients who are non-compliant with their treatment are "actively" working against the Doctors attempts to resolve/treat the medical condition and I would agree cause frustration through their actions.
