This thread is like watching an episode of Jerry Springer— "Medical Version"
I retired from practicing medicine because since the democrats, govt, insurance companies, and scumbag lawyers all stuck their uninvited noses into medicine, it has become a nightmare for doctors and patients.
Many physicians have lost their compassion and willingness to go the extra mile taking excellent care of patients. I feel sorry for those who are not a skilled nurse or physician being able to steer their own healthcare properly.
This is essentially what socialized medicine looks like. Patients have become like customers in a post office or DMV line. There is little to no concern for how all of the takeover of medicine has affected the providers.
I used to charge $35-45 for most visits, and would visit 3-5 home bound patients/week without concern for payment. When I started I would typically spend 80% of my time being with patients. When I retired I was spending 60% of my time documenting notes, fighting with insurance test approvals and payments.
