Anyone know about the tiny inductors on driver boards?

I am modding a Q3 someone sent me and the inductor on the board is screwed. The top plastic piece of the coil was broken off and the wires was just kinda pulled of the post. I already unsoldered it from the board. If I can I'd like to replace the inductor for him. I just don't know what it's value was and where to get one.

Can anyone help me out?

I dont know much about inductors and such,

But i do have a original Q-III board i think.
Pm me if you want it.

No charge,
Benny

OK I got confirmation that the inductor had snapped off and they attempted to solder it back on. Thing is it was standing off the board so high you couldn't put the LED on the ring. Anyway it (the inductor) needs replacing.

Benny thanks so much for your offer. I sent you a PM.

I'd like to repair this driver too if anyone can help with the inductor vallue and where to get one.

Thanks!

If anyone has a pic, the value *SHOULD* be on top of the inductor. YMMV I hope this works out ok, very gracious of Morph to send you his.

I found 2 Q-III boards and one Dorcy AAA converter which can be used in the Q-III,i gutted the dorcy circuit out of my Milky modded Q-III about a year ago to use it as a DD R/O Lux III Screamer :D

I`ll send you all three as i wont be needing them anymore.

Hi Josh,

I dont know if i am so generous.
The Boards are just collecting dust anyway and postage is cheap for small stuff like this :)

CPF wouldnt be the same if we couldnt help eachother out every once in a while. To me that is what CPF should be,i dont like the way CPF has become since i joined and i just can imagine how the veterans feel about it.
CPF has become a place to make money..i have to admit i have gouged my price more than once for a quick buck,i dont anymore.
It felt wrong and i will not do it again ever.I try to keep my sell prices at a fair level.

This little gesture is not much, but i hope it can contribute to someone else doing the same.

Not that all CPF members dont do good deeds.Very many do and thats why i love this place :grouphug:

If someone deserves to be called generous it is you Josh, the anodizing service comes to mind.
That was a time consuming and very nice service you provided. To bad reliable anodizers are hard to come by.
Not many knows you got overcharged by your anodizer and swallowed the
overshooting cost yourself.
Despite that you were offered funds to cover some of your some of the expenses you declined.
That goes a long way in my book. :)
