I purchased the 3 dollar one from deal extreme for my g2. It didn't want to thread down all the way so I tried to use a .22 brass bore brush the clean the threads. I must have nudged the spring because it fell out. Looking at it the solder was broken.
The three bucks didn't bother me as much as the waist of time....

So who makes a good reverse clicky that will thread onto a surefire without to much gap? Tailstand a bonus but not 100% needed. Also needs to work with a 6v XML drop in.

Any help would be great! Thank you!!!

You can get Solarforce switches fir around $12-$20. You can also pick up a McClicky switch and upgrade the guts to your G2 tailcap.

I was just lookin at the mcclicky! Not sure if it's forward or reverse though?

Also kinda scared to break my cap trying to mod it...

It's lookin like a solar force is the way to go... Hope it's better quality and fit then the d.x.

For anybody that has a solarforce tailcap on a surefire...

How's the fit?
Does it screw down not leaving a huge gap?

Any links to a pic I may not have found?

Thanks!!!

Try sbflashlights. The fit and quality of Soalrforce is really good for the price.

Edit: .com removed from sbflashlights
