Anyone receive an e-mail like this?

We need more details...........I guess the beam is not adjustable, but what is the degree of the beam?

Good price if someone could just get their hands on one and let us know if it's worth it.

Maxabaker,

HIDs become more efficient as wattages go up, but I assume you know probably know that. 2,000 watts for 24 watts seems pretty optimistic and likely at the bulb.

10 years self for a charged rechargeable lithium cell, that's just plain stupid and insulting. Rechargeable lithiums last about 3 years or a little more. Non-rechargeables are 10 years. Company seems a little confused.

The old Ken-Rad PSL-35 is rated at 2400 lumens, running 30 watts to D2S bulb. That 30 watts sucks those 15 CR123's down real fast. The light cost like $1100 new. Nice very well built light but I traded mine for a MaxaBeam.

I will check with Marc about that new one- Hope its for real- I will take one.

Higher wattage HID's are more efficient

I did an Anywho.com reverse lookup of the telephone number listed in AE Light's Webbsite. following is the business listed for the phone number:

I have one......

We have one of these units for testing.... feel free to ask questions... I am testing it tonight...

We are reviewing it to sell... So far it is very nice.. and the current run time is 45 min and it is still going...

Feel free to email me with questions - we might put together a group buy if people are interested..

Re: I have one......

There are two separate threads on this light. The other one is here and there is apparently a lot of interest in a group buy.

Craig.
