Thinking about sending this off to Vinh to put in a 519A 4000k emitter. Love the light, and would love it even more with a better led. I asked him if he could do it and he said he thinks he can. Curious if anyone has given it a go. Only the tailcap is removable from the factory, so guessing the head is glued on?

Head is glued on. I tried boiling the head/body in a Ziplock bag for 20 minutes then cranked as hard as I could with two strap wrenches. I cranked so hard it abraded (not scratched) the anodizing off the finned/angled part of the head, but no go. Likely will need more heat than boiling water.

Thanks for sharing your attempt sir!
