Anyone use their main light as a vampire also?

Right now I only have the two lights in my sig. Whenever the LX2 falls out of regulation and only produces 'low' light, that is when I switch the batteries with new ones. And then I put those weak batteries in my E2DL to get all the juice out and use it on 'low' until they die. So far I can't fully deplete the batteries. I use the low every night and it just keeps working.:sick2: Anyone else use a 2X123A light as a vampire?

Yes, I am using a G2 with a P60L as a Vampire.

When I need it to be Brighter I just drop in fresh batteries.

I am going to set up a couple of G3L's the same way as they an also use 2 AA's in an emergency.

I'm using a stock SureFire A2 Aviator-WH as my main Dead Battery Sucker. It works like a charm. Better than any other power LED setup. Those 5mm Nichias are born to suck the very last breath out of those zombified CR123s...

I still use an Inova X5 as a vampire... though my Twisty and Groovy also do vamp duty sometimes... I find the Groovy, on depleted cells, is pretty good for reading in bed. It's direct-driving a Lux3 on a single CR123, but the Vf seems to be low enough so far.

One of these days I'll get a red X5 and be done with it. But then, I'll never be done with the 'strategic battery reserve' at that rate.

My Romisen RC-N3 II is my vampire for dead cells from my 6P/M60.

When the cells are "dead" in the 6P I can still get like an hour of mixed usage in the Romisen (high and low mode).
