I would think it's possible using the 2AA tube, although not sure if length on protected cells (if using protected) would affect fitting. If they fit fine, you will need a drop-in with the correct voltage. If using a Dereelight drop-in, you will need one that specifies 1SM or 3SM (1 and 3 Stage Multi-Power).

Your welcome 🙂. Just as an FYI, if you ordered the entire light together with the drop in you will not be able to run 2 x 14500's on it. These are the low voltage modules that will allow for up to 4.2v only. If you bought on the MP or used that may be another story. Just check and be careful not to make the drop in go .

Yea just checked my drop-in is 4.2 max. I have a javelin host coming. Looks like I'll have to order a new drop-in. 🙂
