Ever wished your AA torch had a strobe facility ?
Whilst In Hong Kong recently, I came across this battery.
4 愚人节 Brand.
Basically, it's a primary AA cell, with built in circuit, which pulses the output, to give a strobe effect if inserted into a torch, around 4 pulses per second. Full power.
(Not sure if it will work with switch controlled electronics torches, but then these usually have strobe facility anyway)
Intended to be carried separately from the torch, and inserted in case of difficulty, being lost, etc.
The capacity was quoted at 2,500 mah, non-rechargeable, and will work in a multi-celled torch, using just one of these cells.
It is approx 1.5mm longer than standard AA cell, to accommodate electronics, but this should be easily accommodated by most torches.
I brought back ten of these, on a trial basis.
Keeping six for myself. Another 100 on order for CPF'rs.
(Similar to Polar Foil brand batteries, design I'm told to be changed, hence covered up)
Total 104.
First four to PM me on Sunday are free, I'll reserve one for you.
