WOOHOO, my arc le got here finally.
Well worth the wait though. REally small!!!
Oh, here's my take on Trans Canada Communications(where i got my arc). Email response was spotty. Sometimes they responded the next day. Sometimes i waited for 2-4 days. But, great people. I ordered and paid for a Arc AAA standard, but they were out, so they sent me an ARC LE instead.!!!
Well, that's my bit.

BTW, anybody know where to get a lanyard and split key rings?

That's great! You got a Arc-LE for the price of Arc-AAA!

I use black rounded (not the flat one) shoelace for lanyard.

A good place to find those split key rings is your Dollar store-we have the chain of 99¢

stores here on the coast.

lucky you!

My e-mails kept getting bounced back, and
all I get is an answering machine on the
phone. Not solid enough for me (yet?)

My arc money already burned a hole in my
pocket on a cheapo bluish light from
RS. The leds make any white powder look
like something radioactive, but I must
say that the swivel clip makes it a damn
good task light. I hope, I don't drop
it!

I have one of these RS lights too. It's a 2-LED version of the Ledda Clipper, rebranded. I am a phone tech, and often need the light for work - I've found that the ability to clip the light to something handy to free up the hands to work very useful.

I used to clip the light on my belt, and swivel the head until it slid under the belt-loop on my jeans. Unfortunately, once I did it wrong and snapped the stem of the clip off. This makes for a more compact, but less useful configuration.

Took it back, and got a new one under warranty, though - the guy at RS was pretty good about it.

Doug.

I'm glad that I didn't pull the clip off before trying it. With a baseball cap, it turns into a reading lamp, a head lamp, a climbing lamp, a work lamp, a wash room lamp, a signal lamp etc. etc. Forget the key chains, sheaths and pen clips! Do you hear Mr. Arc Dude; we need tough metal 360 swivel
clip accessories

The RS guy was happy to get the busted light so he could take out the leds
