What do you guys think of the ARC LS, i've got a trade offer on one and I don't know much about them, thanks!

$100+ is common for sale prices (typically under $100 goes in a day or less), you'll find the occasional post of someone actually still EDCing a stock one, and many using modded ones. For the rest of the world to have 3+ years to make something completely superior, they seem to be awfully well loved.

I'm one of those. My stock LSL-P is on my EDC rotation. Even though I have "better" lights, the LS is still way up there on my list of all-around favorite lights. Can't beat it's ruggedness, simple interface, and clean design lines, to name a few of its outstanding qualities.

Me too.

I dabble in ARC clicky's and the ARC +4 but I really love the old CR123A twisty of my ARC LS First run Cyan, and it's always with me. Very proud to be the owner of this one!!!

Be lucky...

Old, outdated light. Only reason it pulls some dough is because of nostalgia. The rosy glasses of time make us forget about all the problems that people had with them.

You may be partially correct, everyone has their opinion on any matter. You certainly cannot compare a stock Arc LS with the inexpensive options that are out there today. But in my opinion, it is an AWESOME design. Not to mention having it Seouled and adding a flupic. I am no expert, FAR from it. But from what I have learned thus far, it's a GREAT choice for ME anyway.

EDC a modded, 2 stage Arc LSL . Produces a wall of nice, bright, white light. Run time on low is excellent. The Arc LS body is amazingly durable. There is plenty of room for modding, while still maintaining a small size. The design possibilities are limited only by your budget and your creativity. Leds, drivers, optics, and batteries come and go. It's a adaptable light.

Arggghhh you guys are killin me... i still can't believe i lost mine. It's gonna be on the back of my mind for the rest of my life!! lol. I hope peter offers the light once again with an upgraded emitter and circuitry for a low price like $30-40. I think a lot of ppl would buy it, the design is just so awesome.
If that happened i would DEFINITELY sell my Fenix L1P to get one of those. Btw, does anyone know how much an Arc LSH-S CR123A Tailcap would sell for? I still have just the tailcap to the Arc LSH-S i lost and it's pretty much useless now. It's in pristine condition.

Its like driving a '72 LTD. Either you appreciate the retro flavor and really dig it, or you would just as soon park it and drive a zippy Kia. I appreciate the retro.

cheers
