LSL-P # 007 (insert James Bond theme here)

Not only am I a dealer, I'm a user too...

Chris

First Run #347 (white, first)
First Run #734 (amber, second)
First Run #096 (blue , second)
First Run #175 (cyan--looks green, second)
First Run #847 (red , second)
First Run #034 (cyan, not sure if it's a first, second or a 0.9)
First Run #321 (white, second)

Let's see here...

Arc-LS Prototype: no markings, no anodize, probably #001 or #003 (White LED)
Arc-LS Second: First Run #029 (Royal Blue LED)
Arc-LS Second: First Run #112 (White LED)
Arc-LS Premium: LSH-P #609 (White LED)

And I borrowed from another CPFer...

Arc-LS: First Run #788 (Cyan LED)

Not sure if this was a first or second.
The parts were well-matched, so it was probably a first.

Craig,

That Prototype looks so cool on your web site.
Definitely a keeper!

Oh yeah, you are going to have to get that LSH-P up on your web site too, like you don't already have plenty to do. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

And I still USE it too, though it doesn't leave the house anymore. It's not something I want to lose or have stolen, especially since my prototype and Chris M.'s are the only two known to exist outside of Gransee's labs. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The LSH-P will get on my website SOON, I assure you.
I don't have a true review of an Arc-LS up yet because until now, I haven't had a 1st quality production unit to f**k with. The Arc-LS page that's up there now details the prototype and a couple of "seconds" that I bought later on, so that page can't be passed off as a true "review".

Guess I'd better fire up the ProMetric and the other computer and get busy on that. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

LSL-P 277 and 335, both bought as seconds last week. No blems that I can see on 335's body, but there are some polish marks on the lens (no noticable effect on beam). 277 has a small spot of bad anodization at the back edge of the head, like something stuck to the light during the anodization process. Again it doesn't cause any trouble in operation. Beam quality: compared to my BB400/Q3L, both Arcs are a little bit brighter, which is impressive since they're supposedly running at lower current. But 277 has a minor blue cast and 335 has a more noticable blue/violet cast, compared with the BB400 which is pretty neutral. I guess the leds are selected for brightness first and color neutrality second.

It's so good, it has replaced my E2 for EDC. It is also the standard i use to compare other lights i might buy. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

If i ever met Peter Gransee in person, i would probably buckle at the knees and grovel at his feet...kissing his hand. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif It's the best damned $160 dollars i've ever spent.
