I think my LSH-P #609 is going to get 5 stars on my website - not an easy chore for any flashlight to do. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
Congratulations to Peter, Merri, and the rest of the Arc family are probably in order here. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thank you! High praise coming from someone like yourself who has seen more than a few flashlights.

Thank you again!

Peter

I just received my first ARC LS (second) via FedEx:

LSL-S 079

Why is it a second? I can't seem to find any flaws!

In addition to the two Arc LSs that I "registered" at the beginning of this thread, I have now acquired a GreyKit minus electronics. I plan to use the twisty tail as a connector between a good Arc LS head and a box which finishes off partially used C & D cells. I use the bezel and body as a keeper for my spare 2 x AA tail.

To make a long story short, the bezel says:

First Run #1274

You're very welcome Peter!
I just updated my site, and added the LSH-P to the Trophy Case (where GOOD lights go, not OK ones), so it's in the left-side menu twice, and on the What's New page twice too.
And it's on its own page, rather than sharing the one occupied by the prototype and "LS 2nds".
It's right here for those interested.

Doug,

I'm glad to see ownership of multiple Arc LSs. I feel less guilty now about doing that myself. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Paul W.,
I just can't seem to help myself, I hate to see any homeless Arc's. I have room for them all!!! And if I don't I'll add on. And, if I can't afford em, I'll take a second job............. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/banghead.gif Doug /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I just got my LSH-P #716 today! Wooohooo! All I can say is wow! Such a great light, so white.

Now my favorite E2E looks too yellow /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

Btw, is there a protection film in lens of the Arc when shipped? There looks like a film protecting the lens but I am not sure. I see some tiny trap bubbles on the lens.

The plastic lens protector was added to some of the premiums as a little field test to see what you guys would do with it. The protector was Henry's idea and he uses the same thing on his Action light. You can use the light with it on or off, there are advantages either way and you can decide what you want. It is not intended to just protect the lens during shipping is intended to protect the lens during use. Frankly, I prefer it off for my own use, but it's your choice.
