Are ALL Surefire light circuit boards covered with Epoxy?

I recall reading on the forum that the internals of Surefire LED lights (ie IC's, transistors) on the circuit board are protected by special tough 3M glue against HARD impact. It also makes the light extra waterproof if water ever gets inside. I've got a U2 but I don't want to take it apart to check - it's my baby! :laughing:

I dont know an answer to your question, but i would like to see how those pcb's look like. If someone has pictures, please post
