Are HA-III black Surefire E2e and E1e current?

I have a black E1 and E2 in hard anodise III finish. They look rather nice - not better than olive green, but different.

Are these black models currently in production or easily available? They make wonderful gifts and black would be the best finish for my intended giftees.

The E2E-BK I bought last summer was definitely HA-III.

Not sure if they are still being produced, but you can find them online. The E1e-Bk-HA was my first SureFire...

Based on the website it doesn't look like they HAIII BK on E2- E1 Incans or L-series torches.

You'll not find them on the official SureFire website, but you can get them from online stores or eBay.

I think they make small runs from time to time, but they have never advertised them on the official website.. They are not rare. I used to have a couple. I just don't really like the current round body, I prefer the older three flats body, it has more grip and the current body style is quite slippery IMO when you use them for awhile.

Not rare. Unless you happen to find one with a Type III anodised Z52 tailcap. That would be rare. Those are not current production, however.

well your based in the UK... so you could get it at nightgear.co.uk if I am not mistaken..

they do carry e2e in black HA III. As mentioned... they are never on surefire website but u could find them easily..

Yup, they came with the 3-flats body and non-crenulated bezel as well. I think they only made about twenty or so of those, if that many. I have one as a shelf queen.
