Are my AAA LE\'s Really LE\'s?

I just received 3 Arc AAA LE's.
The packaging doesn't say "LE" anywhere. They are olive drab and the part number is "AW-NAT White LED Natural Finish".
Are these LE's or regular AAA's.---Marc

Definately Limited Editions. AW-NAT is the correct part number.

Thanks for clearing that up, Peter. (I thought you were out of town for your "vacation".)
I just opened a package and yup, there it is laser engraved at the bottom of the light itself, "Limited Edition".
Somehow I had missed that. The unit that I scrutinized through the clamshell must have been turned in just the right (wrong) way.---Marc

I am at work today and will be off starting tomorrow. I will be checking the CPF though until about Friday afternoon.

I hope Darell and Saaby don't burn the place down...

Have a good vacation and completly clear your mind of this place. Concentrate on having a good time. The fire department will keep an eye on things

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Here's the secret in ID'ing them from 100 paces:

The LE is the only AAA that comes in "natural" or olive drab (or whatever you want to call it) HA III. The standard currently ONLY comes in a black HA III finish.

Easy, huh?

Go away Peter. We've got it covered.

Re: Are my AAA LE\'s Really LE\'s?

Thanks, Darell. Maybe on the next buy of the insert cards Arc should print "LIMITED EDITION" as big as they put it on Chevrolets. That way even blind customers can figure it out.---Marc

P.S.--Yeah, I know. What do blind people do with flashlights?

Re: Are my AAA LE\'s Really LE\'s?

Since the Limiteds really are limited, it probably doesn't make sense to go to the extra expense of making new blister cards just for the few LE's.

There was some talk a long while back about offering the natural color in the standard AAA as well. THEN it'll be tough to tell them apart without reading the fine print.

One more post and Darell hits 4000. 🙂
