Are my Solarforce T700 glory days over?

Hi guys

I have been using a solarforce T700 for work for about 15 months and it has been simply superb, I cant do without it.

Last night i dropped it from about one meter and it no longer works. I have not cried this much since my vasectomy. I have spoken to the guys where I purchased it from and as I suspected they no longer hold parts for this model, but suggested I email solarforce, which I have just done.

I have unscrewed the torch and the LED's are broken, just tried to attach some pics but I do not have permission!?

Any advice greatly appreciated

Its impossible to tell based on your description. It could be a simple solder reflow repair. need to see pics. try following the steps outlined here:
