I am looking for a laser sight. The one that seems most useful is the Veridian C5L. They use a CR2 cell. They say that rechargeable batteries are not acceptable. I am going to try to find out why they say that. It may be the slightly higher voltage of LiFe rechargeables or the danger of someone putting a 3.7V version.

Regardless of what they tell me, has anyone successfully used a rechargeable CR2 in that sight.
