Are the Tenergy 3.7 V 2600 mah Li ions any good??

I'm thinking about buying a D65 extension tube for my D mini from Matt at Batteryjunction... with a couple of Tenergy 3.7 V 2600 mah lithium ion rechargable batteries.

Does anyone have any experience with these batteries... are they as good as AW's... and if you have used them, could you please tell me real world experiences with run times? Also, would these batteries fit properly??

I will use them with the Ultrafire WF-139 charger that I already own.

I purchased a set of these cells about a month ago and charged them in my WF-139. The reason I went with the Tenergy cells is because I had 2 of 4 Ultrafire 18650 cells go bad on: One before a complete discharge and another before the initial charge.

They charged up to 4.2V on the WF-139 and have been working great in my Lumapower M1 and MRV. I've not done a complete discharge yet, but so far so good :)

I borrowed Dereelight DBS with 3SD Cree XR-E R2 pill from my friend for a review (btw. very nice light). He has Tenergy 2600mAh cells, so I've made runtime tests with them and with my Trustfire 2500mAh cell.
Here are results:
#1 Trustfire 2500mAh: 1:47
#1 Tenergy 2600mAh: 1:20
#2 Tenergy 2600mAh: 1:22

So it looks like Tenergy cells have real capacity lower than 2000mAh...:sick2:

If that Surefire can cope with Li Ion batteries (4.2 volts fully-charged),
AW's protected Li Ions seem to be the most reliable.

If the light is designed for CR123 primaries, it may not like that voltage.
In that case, you might want to go with LiFePO4's, which are much closer
in voltage to the primaries. They are also safer, because they do not
"vent with flame" when they get unhappy.

AW's latest LiFePO4's are skinny enough to fit Surefires (the older ones with the lighter-blue casing did not).
