Hello the forum. I purchased a WF-501B led UV flashlight @365nm. I see there are several brands that have
the same WF-501B designation. I begs the question, is this just a generic style that several companies make?
And yes, the led burned out after ~10 to 20 hours. Now I see there are replacement bulb assemblies for these
style flashlights. Some are just as expensive as this flashlight was. They also cl;aim using a quality LED
such as a CREE. So, are these in fact (at least some of them) better quality items? Are all the WF-501B
just made by one manufacturer and moded by others, or are several companies making these independently? Are
they close enough to have interchangeable parts??

Sorry to be so ignorant on this, but I do learn fast.

They are what's called P60 hosts. The removeable "bulb" units are called P60 dropins and are for the most part interchangeable between the different P60 torch bodies.
