I been looking around but can't seem to find any. I am just looking for one to charge 3 x 18650's or 4 x 18650's while balancing at the same time using a hobby charger. I would connect to hobby charger via alligator clips on cradle end and banana plugs on charger end.

Seems simple, but I am surprised they are not popular enough? I know many made their own, but I, for example, wouldn't try to wire anything like that for myself.

If I missed any, can someone point me to some ready-made solutions>?

TIA

:)

If you have good soldering technique, it is an easy DIY project.

That quoted thread shows the Imax B6. The original Imax B6 is a product by Skyrc. I subtitled the Skyrc DC2 thread with "< battery: adapter, bay, carrier, channel, cradle, holder, port, shell, solt, tray >". I own the Imax B6, iCharger and other hobby/balance chargers but instead of buying a commercial 4x18650 balance cradle (Does such a thing exist?) for them, i am planning to use the DC2 exclusively for all my round battery charging (and discharging and cycling) needs.

Point is, a commercial balancing cradle will most likely not support all battery sizes. A 18650 can have 65mm or 71mm length. And what about the other battery sizes?

On the Geman flashlight forum there was once an exemplary example of a universal battery size DIY balancer cradle.

I think it's possible to make it support 18650/26650 and 65-71mm by using a spring loaded contact on one end. i know many of these been done for personal use.

too bad there is no interested in these, i figured it'd otherwise since many 3x and 4s lights are available now
