Hi,

I'm a little lost as to where to start looking for something like this. Ideally i'd like a flashlight much like a surefire 6p with a momentary tailcap :) Does such a flashlight exist? I've had a look and not found much info on what type of switch each flashlight has.

Thanks for any help!!

You could get the SolarForce L2, which is a clone of Surefire 6PD (comes with a strike bezel. It comes with a clicky tailcap switch, but you could always go to eBay to look for the original 6P momentary tailcap for $10 or under. I actually don't really like the momentary tailcap and I'm selling one on eBay now ... probably going to sell another one when I get my next 6P next week.

I got my Solarforce L2 from this company in HK for $30 (with R2 bin), you could get it for cheaper if you're willing to get the older bins. http://stores.ebay.com/INTERNATIONAL-TRADING-COMPANY

Search on ebay for "surefire 6p tailcap" and you should find a few there as well. Hope that helps.

Thanks :) I'll have a look for the momentary switch on ebay.

Are there any incompatibility issues using the the solarforce and surefire switch together?

None that I'm aware of. I'm sure other people will chime in on it. I know that on eBay, there are vendors who are selling solarfoce clicky tailcap for those who don't like the momentary tailcap from the original 6P and not willing to pay $40 for a Surefire z59 tailcap.
