As far as I can tell, I am done.

Just received my new Bolt AAA and as for now, and the forseeable future, I am done. I have all the lights I need or want.

I now have at LEAST two, one single and one double cell, of each battery type in EDC carry sized lights. This is for AAA, AA, and Cr123 battery types, and that is not counting C and D sized lights at all.

At this point in time, and it may change in the future, I see no reason to buy any more, and have no real desire to do so.

Woohoo, now can just enjoy using and not worry about looking for new, for now...

 Sorry, I couldn't help laugh in disbelief - been there, done that... have you heard about the new SF Cree lights? :nana:

have to agree with greenie on this one

I said the same too....

I just wanted a cr123 light because I never had one, the batteries are too expensive ya know...so I ordered 20 batteries...upon busting my cr123 cherry, I'm very impressed with the form factor....Hmmm now that i have all these batteries....that was 3 cr123 lights ago. Vicious cycle....:shakehead

Ahh, yes. Those famous last words.

You can't fool us. A flashaholic always has room for another. How 'bout one more for the road?

Geoff

Yep. I said I'm done too, except for the SF Cree's and perhaps maybe a Fenix P1-CE and if I can ever afford it a Ti-PD and... and...

Guess I'm not done.

hehe... had the very same thoughts a few days ago. but this week i felt the urge again! I just realized a couple of new lights that i truly NEED! :)

not to mention the new SF crees!

theres ALWAYS another light around the corner...

Been there, too. I also have lights in each size and type that I have a need/desire for. However, there will always be something. The SF Cree lights including another L1 and a G2L (which I think is Seoul, but...), plus I'd like to see what HDS does in the future (not NovaTac). Add to that the fact that Fenix is always releasing either competely new lights or updates of current ones, it will never end! In a way that actually makes me happy!

I said that after I bought my Orb raw, 2 weeks later I got another one.

Then after I bought my Mcgizmo PR-T, but I didnt know I would get another PR-T, an L1, and 2 L4's in the near furture. Hey, who knew? :D

after that I just gave up. Its only a matter of time.

I have a question. I'm in "need" of a CR123 light since I sold all mine and now just have batteries. What is the point of a 2 cell light?

Why get a 2 cell (liek a P3D) when a 1 cell would not have the same potential issues of unbalanced cells etc (say a Novatac?).

APart from form factor and hand fit, what is the point of a 2 cell? I mean, other than any differences in output...

longer runtimes than a 1 cell and brighter than a one cell

Not sure why you say apart from those reasons, those are perfectly valid and important reasons. A one cell light is nice for EDC pocket carry, but for general use, especially for someone with a large hand, or wearing gloves, or for cold weather use, a two cell, or larger, is much easier to manipulate.

The also generally have longer battery life, yes there are exceptions.

I know it is scoffed at, but I simply cannot think of one I need or want, plus I have incentive. There is a nice new dive watch coming out from RGM that I am interested in, and I either want a new Kahr, or the Ultralite S&W .44 mag for a new CCW carry choice. :twothumbs So my money has several places to go , it wont be sitting gathering dust, lol.
