Aspheric Lens questions

Hi, can anyone tell me what aspheric lens for? i understand its for focusing beam further but how easy it is to implement? when i look for lens is it only the diameter that i have to look for and will fits nicely and gives focused beam right out-of-the-box?

The aspheric lens should just replace your normal lense. Yes, looking for the diameter will give you a pretty good idea on how it will fit into your flashlight. Some though, have found out that some aspheric lenses are on the thick side and have had to modify the threads the bezel screws onto on the head of their maglites to get them a flush fit.

Diameter and focal length (FL). For a Mag, the three common FLs are 30, 35, and 37mm. The diameter can be 50-52mm. (50mm is a perfect fit, IMO)
