I'm definitely in for a pair of tailstanding tail caps for either C or D Mags. Or one of each if there are two models.

Everyone jumped on the idea of the tailcap
I thought I opened a can of worms .... 😀

But looks like you where already playing around with the idea lovecpf
I would be in for 1 D cell tailcap
ideally, something like an SF SWO1 or 02 .... flutes, nothing too fancy
SS or Al is fine

Depending on the final cost of the tailcap, I would be interested in more than
1 especially if they are different designs

I found the package near the front door later today after not finding it earlier when the mail arrived. Sometimes they come back by to drop packages they missed during the mail run, or I missed it earlier somehow. :party:

So I opened the package. It was very well wrapped, and wrapped and wrapped. I'd estimate that it was shockproof and waterproof to 10 meters with all the layers of plastic, padding and tape. :thumbsup:

The finish on these bezels is wonderful. I think it is better than many of my reflectors!!!!!

I mounted the lens and one of the bezels on a Malkoff Devices equipped 2D M@g. This is an SSC P4 LED as I recall, so it is not the optimal setup, but it produces a good image of the die, and off-focus there are some settings with larger and very nice clean projected light disc patterns. I may use it off-focus more than on, as in a practical sense the image of the die is not the most useful pattern for me. Later I'll have to try it on the M@g85, and a Ostar 1000 lumen six emitter Mac creation.

Love the glow epoxy in the slots; I've been thinking about doing something very similar.

I know the packaging is a little over kill; a habbit from selling a lot of equipment on eBay. 😉 I just want to make sure the bezels end up at their destinations in the shape they left my hands. I'm very happy you like my work and that the bezels are functioning as intended. Thank you for the positive feedback. :thumbsup:

Talked with my machinist today and he has agreed to do a 2nd, short run, of bezels with the remaining raw material we have left. Tentatively the available quantities will be 5 of each style. However, these will not be available for about another 4 weeks, possibly less.

Price per bezel on this 2nd batch is likely to be $5 to $10 higher because of labor cost involved with the polishing.

I like that design.

Maybe the lanyard hole could be cut horizontal in one of the extended flutes?

Could you do the same design for a D light?
