I have seen a lot of theese puny almost nonexisting things called assault crowns on many a flashlight.

Not impressed!

So i thought to my self, i'll go medieval.
I'm proud to precent the ultimate accesory for a M*g 6D:

This is just a fast mockup but the idea is 12 tungsten carbide teeth, from a reamer belonging to a directional drill, mounted on a ring that attaches to the standard M*g head.
The teeth themselves adds some umph because they weigh 28gram/1oz a piece totalling 400gram/14oz with the ring.

Almost looks like a pittbulls collar.
The PVC ring is temporary and a decent alu ring will be fabricated

This looks like what Thor would be using for a light!!!

Seriously, very creative and bad-@ss looking! I am thinking that if where I live I was caught with something like that in my car by the police, I would have some serious explaining to do in court the next morning...

The first 'mace-Mag' I've seen here was made by Rothrandir I think. Must have been 5 or 6 years ago.
Tried the search function but wasn't able to find it. I liked it! :grin2:

I think I would have put it at the other end. It'd reduce the forces exerted on the light source and add holdability via the knob of the head.

Wrong end of the flashlight!

With something like a 6P it makes sense to use the light end as a weapon.

With something like a Mag you want to be able to hold it near the front, be able to use the light, and be able to execute a WHACK from that hold.

By popular demand, i proudly precent the assault crown MKII...... Err no the assult butt MKI:

Now i need to anodize it and epoxy the tungsten carbide studds permantly in.

How is that for a crowd pleaser?

I vote this as a "Most Awesome" mod of the year. Not to mention impractical, but if someone were to put these on production I'd want one. :D

Nice, uh... "anti-roll device". I hate when I'm changing a tire at night and my flashlight rolls away.

Because, obviously, large flashlights are not weapons. They're just flashlights.

The "Medeival mother in law"?

Keep the names coming, maybe a laser cut will be in place?

you said "assault butt..." ha ha :)D)

Immaturity aside that is pretty cool! Very nice antiroll device. But those need to be sharper!

Well, on second thought, I'd hate to be covered in somebody's blood. Probably a bad longterm decision. :hitit:
