Aurora SH-3AA-- anyone tried this?

Looks interesting. The XM-L T6 version goes for under $30 shipped. Is this garbage? I know that many of the cheaper 3XAA/3XAAA lights have poor battery carriers, and I'd rather not blow $30 only to have it fail within a month. Anyone tried this model? Thanks.
