So I bought one of those $45 Ebay HID kits in order to put together a cheap video system. I gotta say I'm impressed. Sucks about 2.4 amps at 14.8 volts. This one is a 35W model. Does anyone know about a flood reflector I may be able to use? I was just going to fabricate a light head to house reflector and all instead of one of the test tube type housings. Any problem with that?
Oh, due to the size of the ballast will need about a 4" canister...
Thanks

of course but you on other side avoid a lots of problems like

- size
- HIPOT cable
- ignitior
- get exchangable bulb socket ( that one made me a lot of problems  )
- get you get cheap and quality HID bulb D2
- get dimmable HID :twothumbs
- a lot of light but automotive D2 requires bigger reflector else you will not
have any benefits from it ( with small reflector is like 21W HID)

I will show you the way my friend... Just stick around! About the only thing that I think will be right on that list is the size. I think I'll have to have a 4.5" canister for the ballast/batteries...

Cant PM you....

Can we please have a list or dedicated thread of the lights you are now actually producing, maybe put a link in your sig line too?

I cant actually work out what it is that your selling, or yet see any of the reviews you talk about?

Also how about a sales thread, in the right sub forum?

Cheers.

I posted my photobucket links to project lights etc. On a new thread. I'm not sure about the whole PM thing... This forum does not seem as easy to use as some of the others I'm a member of! Look at the 350xfire Canister Light Pictures thread....
