aw 18650's not charging in ultrafire charger-help.

Help. Just received 2 aw 18650's and an ultrafire charger and it looks as if the pos end is not making contact. What to do? Thanks.

The new version WF-139 charger has a raised +ve contact and the previous version has a flat +ve contact but these has been modded with solder bubs from me. If you got the charger from other parties, you'll have to add solder bubs to the +ve charging contacts for use with flat top cells.

Thanks. I received my order from Lighthound who I think is great. Spoke with rep on phone and she is sending the new version you mentioned. Bad thing is, now I have to wait even longer to use your batteries. Honest mistake, I'm sure. Anything I can do in the meantime?

If your charger is like the one on left, a small wad of alum. foil will bridge the charging contact and battery.

Thank you Sir. Just tested batteries with multitester. 3.9V-are these already charged?

3.9V is about 45% charged. They came out the factory this way - best for storage.

Bridged gap. Do the led's on the charger blink while charging? Red, Green, Red, etc.

Anyone? Both led's eventually turned green and stayed green.

Mine just blinks red while charging. green only when done

Yes. The blink is VERY rapid. As you noticed, it goes to solid green when finished.

The red LEDs will blink every few seconds when the Samsung IC checks the feedback voltage from the battery. In fact, it 'll check the feedback 3 times during every blink. It is the designed charging parameters of the charger and is perfectly normal.
