Wow, check these beauties out! Are the Austrians a step ahead of us? Look at the craftsmanship of these aluminum LED flashlights!

The KG-504BK looks awesome, and so does the KG-449BK! I think the KG-504BK is some kind of LED Surefire, and the KG-449BK makes our domestic alternatives look silly!

I know what I'm buying tomorrow. I just have to figure out what time it is in Austria...

The 7 led torch looks great, looks every bit worth the $49. I wonder if it is a twist the head type switch. As that the one you're getting? If so, let us know what its like when you get it.

I have emailed them requesting further information about regulation and beam pattern.

It looks very pretty and seems to be the same drive current as the Inova X5 with just two more LEDs.

If it is indeed $49 that puts it in the same price range--but not as tiny--as the X5

Cheers,

Richard

Be aware, the top 3 lights on that page are 'Mil-Tech' brand lights. These are manufactured in Taiwan, I believe, and not in Austria.
You can find a review of the top 4 LED one (KG-434BK) at the LED Museum,
here.

I have one at home (the 4 LED one), and while it is a nice little light, it is certainly not comparable to Surefire quality.

The Inova X5 is a much higher quality product.

Damn! And I almost bought the 3AA version.

Thanks for the warning.

I guess those Austrians are not 'all that'.

They do make some outstanding lasers, though.

Austrian, Australian. Common mistake. Near enough, anyway.

Uhhh... I think he was quoting Jim Carey from Dumb And Dumber.
