AW's 14500 vs 16340 charg times, kinda wierd?

I was just testing AW's 14500 and 16340 protected cells.

Now, both of these are labelled as having capacities of 750mAh,
but why does the 16340 takes about twice as long to fully charge compared to the 14500? I
tried a couple of AW's 16340 and both have similar charge times.

Ran all cells down till cut off kicked in in the same light.

Just in case anyones insterested, AW told me that this could be due to the resistance caused by the aluminum spacers when using the WF-139 charger.

To be precise, it maybe the added contact resistance between the contact surfaces. The alum. spacers itself has negligible resistance. Cleaning the contact surfaces will help.
