Sorry for the silence, things have been hectic and I have concentrated on getting all of the bodies ready to ship as opposed to responding to posts on this thread. The anodisers almost kept their promise. I got the remaining stuff yesterday. I have been busily o-ringing, greasing and packaging everything for everyone that has prepaid their order. I had help from a friend and still didn't get everything finished in time for today's post. Actually I had everything ready at 4.45pm but there was no way they would have been able to weight and process the 50 odd packages before 5pm. So, first thing tomorrow morning I will head to the post office and ship everybody's order that has been prepaid. I'll send a confirmation email or PM to confirm this with everyone.

I'll update the spreadsheets on the main post after I've shipped the packages tomorrow.

For everybody that has a reservation and has been holding off sending payment until the bodies are ready to ship, you can now send payment. I have arranged for the friend that helped me pack everything to ship the orders as they come in whilst I am away overseas. I guess they'll be able to go to the post office a couple of times a week. I will be individually contacting everyone that has a reservation but has not sent payment that if they still want their bodies then they simply need to pay for them. If anyone no longer wants there bodies but has made a reservation then please let me know so I can cancel the reservation.

wptski, the batch looks the same as the other batch. The HA black is nice and black but the HA nat is lighter than the SF HA nat.

I believe that I have replied to everyone's PM.

One thing is for sure. I will never take prepayments again. It's just too much pressure having people's money in hand without anything to give them and no definite time. I've shipped off all of those packages. Phew! Caused a very large delay at the post office since it took half an hour to process them all.

Due to a clerical error on my part I missed a couple of people's packages. To be precise I missed pc_light and Yaesumofo's packages. I have since packed them and they will be shipped ASAP - probably monday or tuesday by my helper.

Maximum and HunterSon, your packages are ready to go and will ship ASAP too.

Gotta say, I've now purchased 3x BE3 and 3x BE1.5, and they're all great. Everything I've tried on them works great, except in cases where I stuck some weird battery sizes inside... but even then, a homemade spacer did the trick. The knurling is IMHO just right, providing a useful amount of grip without turning into pocket-shredding sandpaper. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

BTW, not sure if it's already been mentioned, but I noticed that a pair of CR2 cells fits perfectly lengthwise in the BE1.5 body... right now I'm running a KL4 head with Z52 LOTC with this configuration, and it makes for what amounts to an L4 Jr., smaller in size and shorter in runtime, yet just as bright as the original! It's a great combination. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
 
Scott, that's exactly what I plan on doing with my BE1.5. I ordered a McE2S 22ohm assembly from the Shoppe to put into my Z52, so maybe mine will be an L2 Junior? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
