bmstrong, sorry there are no pics of the finished bodies yet, just the prototype E1.5 which you can find towards the beginning of the post. When the bare al bodies have been machined (prior to anodising) I will post the pics of each different type. Then I'll post new pics after anodising. One pic showing the E1.5 prototype to give you an idea:

bernhard, is your avatar that of the MtG car Living Wall? Your old one reminded me of an MtG card but I couldn't be sure. Was it Cylopean Tomb?

A screw on clip similar to the one on the Arc4+ might be a nice addition.

bernhard, Anson was one of my favourite MtG artists. I was almost going to use the Juzam Djinn for my avatar since that is one of my all time favourite pictures (Mark Tedin, not Anson of course).

lennonsbug, sorry no screw on clip. Wanted to keep the price low and also I personally don't want the clip myself. If you can drill through the hardcoated aluminium, you could tap a couple of threads and put one on.

Thanks for the updates guys. I'll keep my records up to date from here on in and do one last check post when I ask for payments. I just want to make sure that there are enough to fill everyone's requests. E1s are running out but there's plenty of all the others.

I heard back from the machine shop. They are happy to do the E3 bodies and are just preparing a quote. I'll post the cost as soon as I get the response.

Finally, I'm extending my holiday by 5 days to spend some time in and around London. Seems silly to fly in and out of London without actually seeing some of it. This means I will be returning around the 14th July and will be picking up the bodies from the machine shop on the 15th July. That's only a delay of a couple of days from the original timeframe actually. The anodisers have said it will take a week to get the anodising one. I've allowed two weeks so hopefully end of July is still going to happen.
